Historical Context

By the spring of 1776, the American colonies were increasingly in favor of independence from Great Britain. Tensions had 

escalated following events like the Battles of Lexington and Concord in 1775, and the colonies sought a formal declaration to explain their decision to the world. On June 7, 1776, Richard Henry Lee of Virginia introduced the Lee Resolution, proposing that the colonies were “free and independent  States” and should dissolve political ties with Britain. 

The Constitution acted like a colossal merger, uniting a group of states with different interests, laws, and cultures. Under America’s first national  government, the Articles of Confederation, the states acted together only for specific purposes. The Constitution united its citizens as members of a whole, vesting the power of the union in the people. Without it, the American Experiment might have ended as quickly as it had begun.

The Constitution might never have been ratified if the framers hadn't promised to add a Bill of Rights. The first ten amendments to the Constitution gave citizens more confidence in the new government and contain many of today's Americans' most valued freedoms. 

The Constitution should have been and will from now on be protected by the Guardian Militia.

The only thing that was not put into the Constitution but is implied in the Constitution and Declaration of Independence is the Fact that it is our Right (God Given) and our Duty to add, alter, and or abolish our government when it comes to these ends, and Establish a new Government in a form that will protect and secure our Constitution, Country, and Liberties for our children and future Generations to come. The Guardian Militia being formed in this year 2026 shall remain a continuous Guardian of our founding Documents, Government, God Given Rights, and secure once again our rights to life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness. All members of the Guardian Militia shall train up their Children and make sure they understand the importance of this Militia and its duties.
